The service
SubSentry helps you find and keep track of recurring subscriptions. If you connect Gmail, our servers search it for billing emails and suggest subscriptions for you to review. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information is a guide, not financial advice
SubSentry reads details from emails sent by other companies. Detected prices, dates and renewals can be wrong or out of date, and dates or amounts we estimate are labelled as estimates. Always check with the provider before relying on them. SubSentry does not cancel subscriptions or make payments for you, and is not financial advice.
Your account
You need a Sign in with Apple or Google account. Keep it secure. You must be at least 16 (or the minimum age in your country) to use SubSentry. You can delete your account at any time in Settings › Delete account.
SubSentry Pro
SubSentry Pro is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app or your SubSentry account does not cancel it.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
The free plan tracks up to 8 confirmed subscriptions with one Gmail account. We may change the free plan’s limits; we won’t remove subscriptions you have already confirmed.
Acceptable use
Don’t misuse SubSentry: no reverse engineering beyond what the law allows, no attempts to access other people’s data, no automated abuse of our servers, and no connecting email accounts you aren’t authorised to use.
Google data
Our use of data from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can revoke SubSentry’s Gmail access at any time in the app or in your Google Account settings.
Availability and changes
We may change or discontinue features. We’ll tell you in the app about material changes to these terms; continuing to use SubSentry after that means you accept them.
Disclaimers and liability
SubSentry is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for charges, missed renewals or other losses arising from relying on the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be excluded. Where the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for SubSentry Pro in the 12 months before the claim. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, except where the consumer law of your country says otherwise.
Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for SubSentry or its content, has no obligation to provide support or maintenance, and is not responsible for any claims relating to the app (including product liability, legal compliance or intellectual property claims). Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
