SubSentry is an iPhone app that helps you find your recurring subscriptions, see what they cost, and get a reminder before they renew.
What SubSentry does
- Finds subscriptions for you. If you choose to connect Gmail, SubSentry searches it for billing emails such as receipts, renewals, free trials, price changes and cancellations, and suggests the subscriptions it finds.
- You stay in charge. Nothing counts toward your totals until you confirm it. You can edit or add subscriptions by hand, and your changes are never overwritten.
- Reminders before you pay. Get notified before a renewal or the end of a free trial.
- Clear totals. See monthly and yearly spending per currency. Dates and amounts we estimate are always labelled as estimates.
How SubSentry uses your Gmail
Connecting Gmail is optional. When you connect it, SubSentry asks Google for read-only access. Our servers search only for billing-related emails, and from those they extract the service name, plan, price, billing dates and sender’s domain. We keep those details and a reference to the email they came from. We don’t store full emails, we never sell your email data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
You can disconnect Gmail at any time in the app, and deleting your account erases everything SubSentry has stored. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
SubSentry’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Pricing
SubSentry is free to download. The free plan tracks up to 8 subscriptions with one Gmail account. SubSentry Pro, an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store, tracks unlimited subscriptions across up to 3 Gmail accounts.
